Jacqueline Kurta is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in work with adolescents, college-age young adults and families, particularly focused on challenges involving alcohol, drug and other addictive behaviors. Ms. Kurta maintains a private practice in Santa Barbara, California, and is also the Clinical Manager of the Alcohol and Drug Program at the University of California-Santa Barbara. 

Ms. Kurta is a collaborative, client-centered therapist, with an orientation towards cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. Her therapeutic approach is to work together with clients so they can effectively address their personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
